- Your Domain Name
- Your Web Host Service Provider
- Create Your Website
- Domains and DNS
- Website Launch
- Email Addresses
- Website Management
Domain Name
This is your website name (i.e yourdomain.com). Your Domain Name is the first essential component you will need and is the foundation to your branding, so choose carefully.
There are many domain registrars, but using ZDiQ will simplify your domain name registration and provide the tools for your easy Domain Name Management.

You can purchase your own domain name without choosing using a web hosting service, but if you choose ZDiQ as your hosting service provider, you can get a Free Domain Name as part of our hosting package.
There are millions of websites and each website has a domain name with an unique address. Every domain has a Top Level Domain (TLD) suffix (the "dot"ending for your Domain Name) with which it is associated.
Some typical TDLs examples follows, such as:
- [dot]com for commercial businesses
- [dot]net for network organizations
- [dot]org for organizations (generally nonprofit)
- [dot]biz an alternative to [dot]com for business
- [dot]us for domestic US enterprises
When considering your domain name, try to have your domain name reflect your company or organization (such as your enterprise's name) and the services it provides.
Choose a Web Hosting Service Provider
You can register and purchase your own domain name without a hosting service provider. At some point though, in order to make your website available on the internet, you will need web hosting services.
A web hosting service provider will give you web space (website hosting server space) to put your website online. Like domain name registrars, there are many web hosting service providers. We hope you will choose ZDiQ as your Web Hosting Service Provider.

Create Your Website
Once you registered your domain name, established an account with your web hosting service provider, you should now create your Website.
When creating a website, there are essentially 3 approaches. If you're creative and technically experienced, you might just do it yourself.
If you can tackle using a website programming application, you might try an open-source (free) or a commercially available website building program (i.e. Adobe, Intuit, etc.). Be cautioned that using almost any website building program can involve an extremely steep learning curve.
If on the other hand, you are not design oriented or technically inexperienced or you don't want to use the website software programs alternative, you might consider hiring a professional to do it for you.
Launching Your Website
Having your Domain Name and having designed your Website, putting it on your web hosting server is a straightforward file transfer. Once this deployment process has been completed, then your website should be now on the Internet and part of World Wide Web.
Email Address
You will need an email address.
Using a free email service (i.e. gmail.com, hotmail.com, etc.) looks unprofessional and doesn't support a consistent identity, doesn't promote your branding and doesn't advertise your enterprise.
Set-up an email address with your hosting service provider so you can attach your email address with your Website (i.e. yourname@yourwebsite.com). It's simple to do and it will help others remember your enterprise.
Managing Your Website
Acquiring a domain name, creating your website and putting it online is just the beginning. On-going site management of your website property is important for keeping your website working. Website Management is a regular and steady process of adding, deleting, updating and maintaining to keep your website fresh and up-to-date.
